About Diane

Follower of Jesus Christ

After I tried everything else, Jesus came to heal my broken heart 30 years ago.  From that time on, I have been reaching out to people with the healing and hope only He offers for hurting hearts.

Over 20 Years of Experience

After retiring from teaching, I pioneered a discipleship ministry at my local church.  From there I worked with other churches and pastors training up lay Biblical counselors in our community.  I attended Larry Crabb's School of Spiritual Direction and was recently certified as a Prophetic Heart Healer.

Non-profit Leader

I lead Hope in God, a local non-profit serving women and children who have been traumatized by sexual abuse or rape.  Through Hope in God, we have led numerous Bible studies, helped organize retreats, and provided horse therapy and many other healing outreaches though this non-profit.

Hope Whisperer

I partner with Jesus to break brokenhearted people out of prisons of shame and fear and encourage them to hope again and transition into God's original design.  The refreshing water of grace washes away the ashes of pain to reveal the true beauty God designed in each of us.

Momma, Ama, Wife, and Writer

I have been married to the same man for over 40 years, have 2 amazing children and their spouses, and 3 spunky grandchildren.  In my spare time I write and drive a vintage car around for fun.  Wandering around our restored prairie acreage thanking God for the beauty all around me brings me peace and joy.

Heart Healing is simply a time where you meet with Jesus in a protected safe place for your heart to give to Jesus what you're tired of carrying and to receive the healing and breakthrough the Lord chooses to give.

Everyone.  It is impossible to live in this world and not experience heart wounding.  The Good News of Jesus Christ is that He died on the cross and rose from the dead to conquer the power of sin and death.  Through Him we can find healing for our hearts.  

We start the session with you remembering a moment where you felt joy or appreciation.  This is the Immanuel Moment developed by Dr. Karl Lehman and Dr. E James Wilder who integrated faith-based emotional healing with brain research.  Basically we come into the presence of Jesus with thanksgiving in our hearts. (Psalm 95:2)  After that, we ask Jesus what He wants to do or say.  The Lord is a gentleman and will not require you to do anything you aren't ready to do.  Oftentimes, the Lord shows us things you have been carrying that He wants to take, offers healing for broken places in our hearts, and fills those broken places with His healing love and peace.  We use kind, encouraging, and gentle methods. 

We use the Prophetic Heart Healing modality developed by Elise and Turok Tarango.  The session is completely led by the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ and governed by Biblical standards.  I will be the Facilitator and a trained Intercessor will also be present on the Zoom call.  We will be praying and holding the time for you to meet with the Lord personally.

Most sessions last an hour.  Children's sessions are generally 30-45 minutes.

The specific term "heart healing" is not found in the Bible, but the concept of heart healing is contained in the Word.

  • "Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ."  Galatians 6:2
  • (God) "comforts us in all our tribulations, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God."  2 Corinthians 1:4
  • "Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed.  The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much."  James 5:16
  • "For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ." 2 Corinthians 10:4-5
  • "The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles.  The LORD is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves such as have a contrite spirit."  Psalm 34:17-18
